Frederic Adrait

Lyon-born artist, has pursued over the last ten years in a plastic research centered on the portrait. In this way, the painter has tried to reinvent the portrait by investing both his love for man, his passion for the mysteries of the eyes and souls, but also by trying to enrich an aesthetic that involves the issue of contemporary image.

Looking beyond the emotional dimension, Adrait builds his portraits by the use of material thrown or crushed, which come to finality in the collages, letters and bar codes which are embedded naturally in faces.

The artist explains: "I've always been attracted to the representation of man in the painting and especially by her looks. Every look is for me a question, a problem to solve. I try to capture this moment.

The portraits and unique style of Frederick Adraits allowed the artist to become known and recognized.

On the other hand, he pledged to take on new artistic challenges, opening his questions and interest in new plastic forms, new themes, new looks, new voices.
