Lars Hansare joined a photographic club in Sweden at the age of 14.

An alteration in career path followed when Lars moved into the arena of film.

They moved to France and settled in the village of Castelnau de Guers where Lars continues to create, at this time in the medium of books.
He has had 3 books published in Swedish, English and French and has won a prestigious award for hiis book 'Ostron: en kulinarisk resa i tid och rum' a book that he wrote and took the images for and collaborated with watercolours from his wife Jane.

His latest book L'Esprit De La Main' is reviewed in the literature section of this site.
Although Lars is currently focusing on his writing, he still finds time to work on his art photography.
